Vorschrift

Ten parts of the TiOPc crude prepared in Example 1 was gradually dissolved in 40 parts of 97% sulfuric acid at 2° C., and their mixture was stirred for 1 hour with maintaining its temperature at not higher than 5° C. Then, the resulting sulfuric acid solution was slowly poured into 400 parts of ice water with stirring at a high speed, and crystals precipitated were filtrated. The crystals were washed with distilled water until the acid did not remain, and then dried to give 9 parts of a titanium phthalocyanine compound. One part of this TiOPc was milled by a ball mill for 80 hours.
