Vorschrift

(Bromomethyl)benzene (10.9 g, 63.7 mmol) and 3-fluoro-4-nitrophenol (10 g, 63.7 mmol) were added to 150 mL acetone followed by potassium carbonate (8.8 g, 63.7 mmol) and sodium iodide (9.54 g, 63.7 mmol). The reaction mixture was heated at 55° C. overnight. The resulting mixture was filtered and concentrated. The crude material was recrystallized in ethyl acetate/hexane to give the title compound. MS (DCI+) m/z 264.9 (M+NH4)+.
