Vorschrift

0.35 g of the preparation from Example 18 were added to 10 ml 33 mM L-malate in 0.1 M phosphate pH 4.0 together with 17 μmol NAD+ and 7 μmol MnCl2. Total conversion of malate to lactate was obtained in six hours, and the procedure could be repeated with fresh malate, NAD+ and MnCl2 at least five times without any increase in reaction times.
