Vorschrift

5-Amino-2-fluoro-3-(5-methyl-pyridin-2-yl)-benzoic acid methyl ester (560 mg, 1.9 mmol) was dissolved in 20 mL methylene chloride, and the mixture was cooled to 0° C. Isobutyryl chloride (221 mg, 2.1 mmol) and triethyamine (575 mg, 5.7 mmol) were added, and the mixture was stirred at 0° C. for 30 minutes. The reaction mixture was washed with saturated aqueous NaHCO3 and brine, dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure to give 690 mg (99%) of 2-fluoro-5-isobutyrylamino-3-(5-methyl-pyridin-2-yl)-benzoic acid methyl ester.
