Following General Procedure B2, 4-chloro-2-(3-chlorophenyl)-6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopenta[b]pyridine (0.100 g, 0.33 mmol) was reacted with ethyl 2-(4-amino-2-fluorophenyl)acetate (0.098 g, 0.50 mmol) to afford the title compound (0.094 g, 94%). MW=424.90. 1H NMR (CD3OD, 300 MHz) δ 7.79-7.75 (m, 1H), 7.66-7.60 (m, 1H), 7.45-7.36 (m, 2H), 7.30 (t, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.20 (s, 1H), 7.11-7.05 (m, 1H), 7.04-6.97 (m, 1H), 4.17 (q, J=7.1 Hz, 2H), 3.68 (s, 2H), 3.02 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 2.89 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 2.30-2.13 (m, 2H), 1.26 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 3H); APCI MS m/z 425 [M+H]+.
