Vorschrift

200 g of disodium tetraborate was dissolved in 800 ml of hot deionized water. The water is in the temperature range of about 85° C. to about 95° C. 150 g of 45% titanium III sulfate was added to the above solution to form a dark slurry. 35% H2O2 was added drop-wise to the slurry until a homogenous yellow suspension resulted. The product was filtered in a Büchner funnel, and the cake was washed with deionized water. Solids were determined to be 19.8% by oven drying.
