Vorschrift

N-((6-Iodobenzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)methyl)acetamide (2.4 g, 7.5 mmol) was added to methanolic hydrochloric acid solution (4 N) (60 mL). The mixture was stirred at 80° C. overnight. Solvent was removed and the residue was dissolved in water, adjusted to PH7 with 10% NaHCO3, filtered to obtain (6-iodobenzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)methanamine as a yellow solid (1.76 g, 85%). LC-MS: 278 [M+1]+. 1H-NMR (DMSO-d6): δ 1.88 (s, 2H), 3.57 (s, 2H), 6.02 (s, 2H), 7.13 (s, 1H), 7.33 (s, 1H).
