Vorschrift

A mixture of 2-{4-[2-(1-azido-1-methylethyl)-6-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl]phenyl}ethyl acetate (step 2, 133 mg, 0.28 mmol) and Lindlar catalyst (13 mg) in methanol (5 ml) was stirred under H2 atmosphere at room temperature for 2.5 h. The catalyst was removed by filtration through a pad of celite and the filtrates were concentrated to give the title compound as yellow oil (121 mg, 98%).
