Vorschrift

(7-Oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiophene-3-yl)-carbamic acid t-butyl ester (18.9 g) in 4N hydrochloric acid/ethyl acetate (200 mL) was stirred for 1 hour. The resulting solid was collected by filtration, washed with ethyl acetate to provide the title compound (13.9 g) as an off-white solid.
