(5-Benzyl-[1,3,4]oxadiazol-2-yl)-[5-(4-bromo-phenyl)-3-methyl-isoxazol-4-yl]-methanol (0.537 g, 1.26 mmol), tert-butyldimethylsilyl chloride (0.209 g, 3.78 mmol) and imidazole (0.095 g, 3.78 mmol) were combined in DMF (8 mL) and stirred at room temperature for 72 hours. Standard aqueous workup and silica gel chromatography (0-10% EtOAc in hexanes) gave the title compound.
