Vorschrift

A 2% loading of 7-dehydrocholesterol on mordenite with a Si:Al ratio of 5.2-6 in the sodium form (Valfor C500-11 from PQ) was treated in the same was as in Example 6. After 120 min., a significant amount of previtamin D3 was formed, but there was very little tachysterol formed.
