4-Amino-4-[6-(cis-4-trifluoromethyl-cyclohexyloxy)-naphthalen-2-yl]-pentanoic acid was synthesized as per 4-amino-4-[6-(trans-4-trifluoromethyl-cyclohexyloxy)-naphthalen-2-yl]-pentanoic acid (Example 282) in 21% yield as TFA salt, using 4-nitro-4-[6-(cis-4-trifluoromethyl-cyclohexyloxy)-naphthalen-2-yl]-pentanoic acid as the starting material. MS: m/z=432.20 [M+Na]+. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CHLOROFORM-d) δ ppm: 7.64-7.75 (m, 3H), 7.35 (dd, J=8.8, 2.0 Hz, 1H), 7.14 (dd, J=8.9, 2.1 Hz, 1H), 7.08 (s, 1H), 4.67 (br. s., 1H), 2.22-2.41 (m, 2H), 1.98-2.20 (m, 5H), 1.63-1.80 (m, 7H), 1.48-1.61 (m, 2H).
