The title compound was prepared as described in Example 3 using 3-bromo-1-(4-(perfluoroethoxy)phenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole (C1a) and methyl 2-(4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenyl)acetate (C2) and isolated as a white solid (3.57 g, 59%): 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 9.42 (s, 1H), 8.18-8.04 (m, 4H), 7.68-7.58 (m, 2H), 7.48-7.38 (m, 2H), 3.78 (s, 2H), 3.65 (s, 3H); 19F NMR (376 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ −85.20 (d, J=2.9 Hz), −86.93; ESIMS m/z 428 ([M+1-1]+).
