الإجراء التجريبي

A mixture of 5-iodo-6-methyl-N-[4-(methylsulfonyl)benzyl]-2-oxo-1-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-1,2-dihydropyridine-3-carboxamide Example 1 (d), 120 mg, 0.20 mmol) and copper (I) cyanide (66.7 mg, 0.74 mmol) in NMP (2.5 ml) was stirred overnight at 140° C. The reaction mixture was cooled and partitioned between ethyl acetate and water. The organic layer was dried over sodium sulphate, filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was first purified by preparative HPLC and then by flash chromatography eluting with dichloromethane/methanol (10:0.2) to give the title compound as a white solid (24 mg, 24%).
