الإجراء التجريبي

A solution of 5 g of 3-amino-2-naphthalenecarboxylic acid in 40 ml of acetic anhydride is stirred at ambient temperature for 30 minutes and then 5 ml of nitric acid are added dropwise. The reaction mixture is then stirred in an ice bath for 7 days and is then poured onto ice. The precipitate formed is filtered off, washed with water and then dried and rinsed with 40 ml of methanol, allowing the expected product to be isolated after drying.
