Following general procedure J and using [4-(2-cyclopropyl-4,4-dimethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-isoquinolin-6ylethynyl)-phenyl]-acetic acid methyl ester (Compound 23, 0.01 g, 0.027 mmol), methanol (1 mL), tetrahydrofuran (1 mL), water (0.5 mL) and lithium hydroxide monohydrate (0.042 g, 1 mmol) the title compound was obtained as a pale yellow solid foam (0.0065 g, 68%).
