Ex-32A: 2-(5-Formyl-2,4-dimethoxyphenyl)indole-l-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester was prepared from 5-bromo-2,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and N-Boc-indole-2-boronic acid in a similar manner as Ex-1A, 79% yield, yellow oil. 1H-NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 10.36 (s, 1H), 8.15 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H), 7.88 (s, 1H), 7.45 (d, J=8 Hz, 3H), 7.27–7.35 (m, 1H), 7.19–7.27 (m, 1H), 6.52 (s, 1H), 6.47 (s, 1H), 4.00 (s, 3H), 3.86 (s, 3H), 1.42 (s, 9H).
