الإجراء التجريبي

2-imino-4-thiobiuret (5 mmol) is added accompanied by stirring to a solution of 2-bromo-4-isopropyl-cyclohexanone (5 mmol) in ethanol (10 ml) and the reaction mixture is then refluxed for 16 hours. After evaporating-off of the solvent ethyl acetate is added to the residue and the precipitated-out product is isolated by filtering off: tR 2.75 min (LC-1, one peak); ESI-MS (+/−): m/z 239.25 [M+H]+/237.24 [M−H]−.
