الإجراء التجريبي

Sodium acetate (395 mg, 4.82 mmol) was added portionwise to a solution of 7-furyl-3-methyl-4-chromanone (60) (500 mg, 2.19 mmol) and hydroxylamine hydrochloride (167 mg, 2.41 mmol) in methanol (5 mL), and stirred overnight at room temperature. The reaction was quenched with H2O and extracted with ether (2×25 mL). The combined organic layers were dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated to give 7-furyl-3-methyl-4-chromanone oxime (61) as a white solid, m.p. 175-177° C.
