الإجراء التجريبي

N—(Carbamoylcarbamothioyl)-4-chloro-benzamide (350 mg) from step (i) above was mixed with 50 mL of ethyl acetate. Bromine (224 mg) in 5 mL of ethyl acetate was added. After 30 minutes 10 mL of water and 10 mL of methanol was added. The mixture was concentrated and the residue was triturated with water/methanol and dried in vacuum to give the product as a white solid, 0.25 g, 0.98 mmol, 70% yield.
