Palladium(II) acetate (8.23 mg, 0.04 mmol) and 9,9-Dimethyl-4,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)xanthene (42.4 mg, 0.07 mmol) were added to dioxane (3 mL) and the solution was stirred at room temperature for 10 minutes. 2-(4-((2-amino-4-chloro-6-methylpyrimidin-5-yl)methyl)phenyl)acetonitrile (200 mg, 0.73 mmol), (S)-(+)-2-Amino-1-pentanol (151 mg, 1.47 mmol) and POTASSIUM CARBONATE (203 mg, 1.47 mmol) were added and the mixture was heated at 100 °C for 15 hours. LCMS showed no product and reaction not progressed.
