Prepared from rac-N2-(7-methoxy-indan-1-yl)-4H-benzo[d][1,3]oxazine-2,6-diamine (Example 10) (620 mg, 2.00 mmol) and chloroacetyl chloride (168 ul, 2.10 mmol) according to the procedure described for Example 3 step A. Obtained the title compound as a light yellow solid (750 mg, 97%), MS (ISP) m/e=386.1 [(M+H)+] and 388 [(M+2+H)+].
