الإجراء التجريبي

To a solution of (E)-methyl 4-(6-phenyl-1,4-dioxaspiro[4.5]decan-6-yl)but-2-enoate (136 mg, 0.430 mmol) in MeOH (15 mL) was added about 50 mg of 10% Pd/C and the mixture was stirred under H2 (25 psi) for 3.5 hrs. It was filtered through Celite and evaporated to give an oily residue. LC/MS: m/e 319.10 (M+H)+.
